CONTRACT REPORTING

The following site show contract information to comply with the NSW Government Information (Public Access) Act. The University obligation is to maintain a publicly available Register of Contracts to which it is a party and which has, or is likely to have, a value of $150,000 or more. This Register is required to be published on the University’s website. Some contracts are considered commercially confidential and are not shown on the public site but are recorded in the register.

The contracts that are required to be reported are those in which a party agrees to:

  • Undertake a project, (for example: construction, infrastructure or property development)
  • the provision of specific goods or services, (for example: information technology services)
  • transfer real property to another party in the contract
  • a lease of real property.

Note that contracts of employment are not required to be reported. Any contract that fits the criteria needs to be entered into the register within 45 days of signing. Please start by entering your OneId and then classifying the contract and entering its details as directed by the form. For more information please contact gipa@mq.edu.au
